WebMay 16, 2004 · I've used NEP throttle lock for years on Katana, and loved it. You just have to adjust it properly, and it locks the throttle strong enough, but you can still force it to close. Never had a problem. Tried to fit it on the 'Busa - too narrow space. Even filed it to reduce thickness - still doesn't fit. Will try to move the kill switch assembly next.

WebJul 28, 2010 · Hello Nenjammer. I bought and installed the NEP throttle lock on my 07 RWB VFR. Needed to shave off a little bit of plastic as well as move the rubber grip a little further out. Still, it looks and works fine. I tried the Vista, but found that it was quite a bit thicker than the NEP and would require more work to get it to fit. Yes, they appear to be flimsy, but they do not require any more care than anything else on a bike. It is just a throttle lock, not a cruise control.
