The marine park consists of 3 islands, namely, Apo Island, Apo Menor and Cayos del Bajo. Apo Island, not to be confused with the one near Dumaguete, is the largest of these three. WebbTubbataha National Park covers almost 100,000 hectares of the pristine reef; it is, therefore, no surprise that it has been named one of the New Seven Wonders of the World, and has earned designation as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
